About Us
Our HistoryHeartBreakers Softball Corp. is a not-for-profit organization founded by Al Bowman and Bruce Oglevie in 2002 and is dedicated to providing girls a low-cost opportunity to play competitive fastpitch softball in the Tampa Bay region. From it's inception, the original Heartbreaker team, now competing at the 16U level, garnered respect and notoriety in northwest Hillsborough County and additional teams were soon added in the 10U and 12U division. The HeartBreakers organization maintains it's roots in northwestern Hillsborough and practices at two locations, Citrus Park Little League and the Ed Radice complex. All the HeartBreakers teams compete in ISA and NSA tournaments throughout the Tampa Bay region and enjoy a tradition where having fun in competition is as important as winning.Click Here to read more about the HeartBreakers Fastpitch Softball History. Our MissionThe HeartBreakers is a competitive fastpitch softball
organization that aspires to balance between athletics, academics, and community.
Aside from their commitment to athletics, it is equally as important for our
players to perform in
the classroom and the community. For those teams with little league
participants, we remain little league friendly, allowing our players to
participate in little league regular season games and post season tournaments. For more information about the Heartbreaker organization contact Al Bowman or Bruce Oglevie. |
